Why Youth Interactive?

The best hope for a peaceful and prosperous world lies in the education of all the world’s children.

Today, 771 million of the world’s citizens are illiterate. One out of every five primary school-age children in developing countries is not in school. Totaling over 100 million globally, 53% of them are girls.

The Youth Interactive (YI) education program is media4good’s response to the 8 Millennium Education Development Goal to improve access to quality education for the most impoverished children in our world.

In rising to this challenge and taking action to empower children and their communities, we work to reform outdated chalk and board education and provide equal learning opportunities for the most disadvantaged. Youth Interactive aims to promote their inclusion in a global economic society.

We use 21st century technology to connect grassroots communities, schools and students on both sides of the economic border to promote cultural understanding.

Youth Interactive provides new access to learning and educational opportunities as a basic right across five continents.
