| Simon Channing Williams 1945-2009 |
We were saddened to hear that Simon Channing Williams, one of the founders and trustees of the Constant Gardener Trust, has died. Simon was instrumental in forging our partnership with the Trust. Simon was the producer of the film "The Constant Gardener" and enjoyed a long career collaborating with the British film director Mike Leigh. He was made an elder of the village of Loiyangalani in recognition of his work with the Trust and was awarded the 'Order of the Grand Warrior' by President Kibaki of Kenya. We will always be grateful for his warm support and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. |
