Frontier Schools.
We use a bottom-up policy of listening, learning and working in strong partnerships with grassroots organizations and the communities.
Together, we work to provide modern educational tools to help those most in need access a better standard of education and develop strong entrepreneurial, creative and citizenship skills.
The power of the image is critical for training and promoting education in countries where literacy is a problem. It is also a fantastic tool for giving the disadvantaged of all ages a voice in the global decisions that affect their lives.
In order to further anchor YI Frontier Schools and Centers as an essential part of village life, we make sure that they are always wanted and impact positively on the whole of the local community.
An example of this approach is to provide literacy and computer classes to the adults in the community, thus providing tangible benefits for all.
And it is only by listening to the specific problems faced everyday by our fantastic grassroots partner’s and their community that we can understand their issues and work together towards a holistic solution.
We are proud to say that as a result taking the time to listen, understand and forge strong equal partnerships around the globe, Youth Interactive Frontier Schools and Learning Centers are fast becomes a vital asset to each community to quote Angela Stultz our Jamaica on the ground partner – “It simply becomes theirs, not ours.”
