EDUCATION FOR ALL
The Youth Interactive education program is a global mission specifically designed to connect children on both sides of the economic divide.
Youth Interactive is taking action to empower children, their communities and promote their inclusion in a global economic society by providing flagship Schools with strong communication exchange facilities and delivering 21st century education standards to the most disadvantaged.
Youth Interactive's mission is to provide modern educational services to existing schools in the developing world, and to promote learning, computer literacy and communication skills. The mission is also to build desperately needed schools and vocational facilities, where there are none, to benefit the most impoverished children in our world today.
In the USA and the UK Youth Interactive provides its participating schools with lesson plans and skill-sets to help raise educational standards in modern communication skills, cross-cultural understanding, world economics and global awareness so that all children have the opportunity to grow into more caring and better equipped adult citizens.

CONNECTING, ENGAGING AND EMPOWERING
In the schools
Schools in the UK and USA either contact us or are contacted by the Youth Interactive team and invited to join Youth Interactive's global journey. From this point on it
becomes a student-led process.
All schools taking part must commit to fundraise a minimum amount every year they take part in Youth Interactive as their contribution towards helping provide the tools for a good education to their disadvantaged peer-group.
It is important that they are dedicated to fulfilling that commitment and part of that is having a personal involvement in selecting the project they support.
Students are shown Youth Interactive produced films to give them a feel for the lives and needs of the various, carefully selected, frontier communities who are partnering in the project.
The decision as to who they want to support and fundraise for on their year-long Youth Interactive global journey is theirs alone. They can decide whether to help fundraise to provide educational service to a failing school or to building a frontier school for the children in India, Jamaica, Kenya or Papua New Guinea, for example.
Each project has its own unique environment, culture, geography and society.
In the communities
We use a bottom-up policy of listening to the needs of each target community and working in strong partnerships with organizations in those communities.
We provide buildings and modern educational tools with the aim of levelling the differences in educational standards and helping all children taking part in Youth Interactive to develop social entrepreneurial and citizenship skills.
We empower and connect students in the communities using our website with schools in the west to share their experiences of life and the benefits and difference that the chance of an education meanst to them.
On our website
The Youth Interactive website allows sustainable connectivity between young people in two economically separate worlds.
The Youth Interactive website is highly interactive and provides facilities to post videos and other media on Youth Interactive TV, chat in online forums, swap experiences and make friends as well as develop their own projects.
The Youth Interactive website is an online tool where Youth Interactive young social entrepreneurs can safely raise funds, become creative and freely communicate with their peers around the globe.
The Youth Interactive website is a highly visible platform where the next generation can bounce ideas off each other and learn in partnership with other schools and established social entrepreneurs.
Participating schools in the UK and USA can see exactly how the money they raise is being spent.
A NEW GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
Youth Interactive is rising to the challenge of an unequal world and taking action to deliver 21st century education standards to the most disadvantaged and
impoverished
children, by providing modern educational services to existing but failing schools and by building schools and vocational facilities where there
are none.
The power of the image is critical for training and promoting education in countries where literacy is a problem.
It is also a fantastic tool for giving the disavantaged of all ages a voice in the global decisions that affect their lives.
Which student could resist finding out about life at a school in a desert village, or a jungle community?
Youth Interactive offers its students the opportunity to experience real cultural interchange, online learning opportunities and mentoring from industry professionals.
Students will explore values of giving and taking responsibility for the world and their place in it. By observation, sharing ideas, collaborative learning, discussion and finding solutions together they can take action which will positively impact the communities for which they are fundraising. Their reward will be a real sense of achievement, a life changing contribution to their generation both here and across the economic border.
Youth Interactive provides a full library of backup material to meet educational requirements and the opportunity for all the children involved to join a proactive, thinking and empowering community, which will allow children not only to connect and create a school for their disadvantaged counterparts, but also learn about and experience citizenship and social responsibility in a guided environment.
The world is increasingly using digital media; for students in both the developed and developing world proficiency in digital media is an inherently advantageous life-skill.
Digital communication is becoming the must-have basic building block for any coordinated human project, whether in aid, commerce, or government; Youth Interactive is grasping this reality in the context of youth, global citizenship and education.
